Copilot AI Integration Expands to Samsung 2025 TV and Monitor Lineup

Microsoft has integrated its Copilot artificial intelligence into Samsung's 2025 television and smart monitor series. The feature is now available across select Samsung TVs and monitors, offering users an interactive way to access content recommendations, weather updates, and general inquiries without spoilers.

On compatible Samsung devices, Copilot appears as an animated character that responds to user interactions with real-time facial expressions. Copilot integrates voice control, an animated on-screen presence, and visual response cards to simplify navigation and enhance user engagement. It enables users to search for content, receive tailored recommendations, and access everyday information using natural voice commands. The assistant is accessible directly from the home screen on devices running Samsung's Tizen OS.

The AI assistant is integrated into Samsung Daily+, the home screen interface, and the Click to Search function. The interface supports group interaction, making it suitable for shared viewing decisions and family use. It responds to queries about shows, provides background details on cast and crew, and offers suggestions based on multiple viewer preferences.

The development continues a longstanding collaboration between Microsoft and Samsung. Previous joint efforts include integration of Microsoft 365 on Galaxy devices and Xbox Cloud Gaming on Samsung TV platforms.

Key capabilities include:

  • Spoiler-free recaps of TV series upon request
  • Targeted content suggestions based on genre, theme, and runtime
  • Group-based recommendations for mixed audience preferences
  • Follow-up insights after viewing, such as filmography details
  • Responses to daily queries, including weather and mood-based content

Copilot is currently available on Samsung’s 2025 TV and monitor models. Support for additional devices and features will expand in future updates.

To use Copilot:

  1. Access the Apps Tab on the Samsung Tizen OS home screen under Samsung Daily+
  2. Press the microphone button on the Samsung remote and speak the request
  3. (Optional) Link a Microsoft account via QR code to enable personalized responses and preference tracking
  4. Receive responses through voice and on-screen visuals

Earlier in the year, Microsoft confirmed a similar integration with LG TVs. The company, in collaboration with Samsung, plans to extend Copilot support to additional television and monitor models in the coming months.
