Microsoft has released a new preview, Windows 11 Build 27924, to  Insiders using the Canary channel. It adds "Advanced settings" for File Explorer in the Settings app, and improves the inbox Snipping tool app with a new capability. It can now record a specified window.

Recent Windows 11 builds released for the Insider program have included references to a feature named "Taskbar Companion," suggesting that Microsoft integrates artificial intelligence directly into the taskbar interface. Microsoft has since removed these references from newer versions, likely to limit early exposure during development.
