Chrome to get Web Share API support on Desktop

Google Chrome is getting support for web sharing APIs. The appropriate feature has made its first appearance in the Canary channel. This will allow you to share, let's say, an image on any web site from the context menu using the native 'Share' dialog in Windows 10, and transfer it to any app that supports this modern sharing technology.

Chrome and Edge will soon allow sharing images via a QR code

A new useful option is coming to Chromium, and will subsequently reach both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. A new feature, that extends the existing QR code generator for URLs, will allow you to do the same with images on a page content.
