Personalization Panel for Windows 10 v2.0 is out

I am happy to announce Personalization Panel for Windows 10 v2.0. Personalization Panel for Windows 10 is an alternative to the Settings app with the familiar look revived. In this release, I implemented made it compatible with Windows 10 Anniversary Update and Windows 10 Threshold 2.

Personalization Panel for Windows 10 restores the options which were removed from the desktop context menu and replaced with the Settings app. The following changes were included in Personalization Panel for Windows 10 version 2.0:

  • Added the ability to get colored title bars instantly in Windows 10 Anniversary Update/Version 1607:
    Colored titles White titles
    This will save your time. You will be able to avoid the Settings app if you need to enable or disable the colored title bar feature. Just click the link "Enable/Disable colored title bars" to toggle it.
  • Fixed issues found by users when the app in running in Windows 10 version 1506.
  • Other minor interface tweaks.

  1. The link to v2.0 is not obvious, and required many clicks. Still I was not sure that I had actually downloaded the correct version until I checked details under properties.
