As of this writing, Google Chrome is the most popular web browser. It is available for Windows, Linux, Mac and Android. By default, Chrome draws its own title bar, which is gray in color and doesn't suit the appearance of Windows 10. If you don't like this feature of the browser, you can turn it off. Here is how it can be done.

Google Chrome comes with a number of useful options which are experimental. They are not supposed to be used by regular users but enthusiasts and testers can easily turn them on. These experimental features can significantly improve the user experience of the Chrome browser by enabling additional functionality.
Tip: You can enable or disable native Google Chrome notifications in Windows 10.
There is a special flag which you need to enable to get rid of the gray title bar in Google Chrome. Let's see how to active the native look of the title bar in this browser.
To enable the native titlebar in Google Chrome, do the following.
- Open the Google Chrome browser and type the following text in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar
This will open the flags page directly with the relevant setting called 'Custom-drawn Windows 10 Titlebar'.
- The Custom-drawn Windows 10 Titlebar flag is enabled out of the box. Select the option Disabled from the drop-down list next to the feature description.
- Restart Google Chrome by closing it manually or you can also use the Relaunch button which will appear at the very bottom of the page.
When flag is enabled, Chrome will draw the titlebar and caption buttons instead of deferring them to Windows. Here is the default titlebar in Google Chrome running on Windows 10:
This is the change in action:
Please keep in mind that the solution described in this article is temporary. The appropriate flag can be removed at any moment in upcoming versions of the Google Chrome browser.

Dude (Wally Langdon) there is a way still, follow the instructions here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/blw2d6/custom_drawn_windows_10_titlebar_option_gone/
Additionally, there are no “lies” here at one time, the aforementioned approach above *did* work, but now it does not. In the realm of hacking, modifying, and manipulating windows features, which clearly you are capable, you know very much so that hacks like this do not ever last forever. So be more open minded and less angry, and perhaps you’ll get better receipt of your requests without being a complete douche in doing so.
I don’t share Wally’s anger, and I certainly don’t blame Winaero or Sergey Tkachenko. I’m sure this worked when the article was written. I am disappointed that Google often makes changes that don’t make sense for Chrome users.
Vivaldi & Firefox have robust support for customizing the user interface, including page title in titlebar.
