Microsoft has removed the classic UAC prompt from Windows 10
As you may already know, there was a Registry tweak which could restore the classic UAC prompt. In the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update, it was eliminated, so only the modern touch friendly dialog is left in the operating system.
Microsoft advises you to not edit Linux files from Windows
As you may already know, Windows 10 comes with a Linux subsystem based on Ubuntu. It allows the user to use various console tools and install typical Linux servers and services. Microsoft is now warning users to not edit Linux files directly using Windows apps as they can permanently damage your Linux distro's installed copy.
Add Command Prompt back to Win+X Menu in Windows 10 Creators Update
Starting with Windows 10 build 14971, Microsoft enabled PowerShell by default in the Win+X menu. Some news sites immediately reported that Microsoft is killing the command prompt. While nobody knows yet what Microsoft's plan is regarding cmd.exe's possible removal, it is not gone in Windows 10 build 14971. You can get the command prompt back in the Win+X menu with just a few clicks.
Get Classic Paint back in Windows 10 Creators Update
As we covered recently, starting with Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft has ditched the good old Paint app and replaced it with a new Modern app, "Paint 3D". Many people are not happy with this change because the old mspaint.exe loaded faster, was more usable for mouse/keyboard users and allowed the user to quickly paste an image, crop it and save it.
