Administrative Templates are registry-based policy settings that appear in the Local Group Policy Editor under the Administrative Templates node of both the Computer and User Configuration nodes. This hierarchy is created when the Local Group Policy Editor reads XML-based Administrative Template files (.admx).

  1. “They include a number of *.admx files to apply the Group Policy options properly.”

Now the only thing that needs fix is the OS itself after applying templates for a broken OS. VPN and RDP not working on 1803, starts working immediately after rollback to 1709. This is the crappiest release of Windows ever. Even Windows Millenium was less bugged.
