Microsoft has updated their 'Your Phone' app that is now able to process touch events. The update is already released to Insiders.
Windows 10 comes with a built-in app named 'Your Phone'. It was first introduced during Build 2018. The app is intended to allow users to sync their smartphones running Android or iOS with Windows 10. The app allows syncing Messages, Photos, and Notifications with a device running Windows 10, e.g. to view and edit photos stored on your smartphone directly on the computer.
Since its first introduction, the app has received tons of new features and improvements. For example, its recent versions allow the user to sync SMS and notifications, includes support for hyperlinks in messages.
The Your Phone app can be found in the Microsoft Store.
The latest version released to Insiders enables touch tap and tap and hold for phone screen. If you're using the feature on Surface Go or other touch capable PCs you can try it out. Microsoft is expecting to get your feedback about this new feature.
