The free upgrade offer for Windows 10 has ended. This should finally stop the continuous nags in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 which prompt the user to switch to the newest Windows release. However, Microsoft is still allowing users to switch to Windows 10 free of charge. Here is how you can do it.
Earlier, Microsoft promised to keep Windows 10 free for users who use assistive technologies. It looks like the Redmond giant kept its promise. The company has launched a new web site for the mentioned category of users.
However, the upgrade procedure is not restricted in any way. The only thing the user has to do is to click the upgrade button!
The text above the button states "Yes, I use assistive technologies and I am ready for my free upgrade to Windows 10."
A special app will be downloaded once you click the button. Once you execute it, it will start the upgrade process to Windows 10.
Microsoft is interested in getting all their users migrated to Windows 10. That's why they haven't restricted access to it. So, any interested user can still get in and upgrade to Windows 10 for free.
Microsoft states in the FAQ on the website that they will make a public announcement before they discontinue this offer for assistive technology users.

Thanks for this! I was trying to persuade my friend to get Windows 10, but he missed out because his No Execute capability was diabled in BIOS. He’s a bit deaf too. I shall contact this guy. Yes, this is all true!
Well, that was… Expected!
