Xbox users will soon be able to stream their games to Discord

Discord has announced that Xbox users will soon have the ability to directly stream their screen, a feature that was previously only available on PCs. Earlier, console users had to rely on external capture solutions to broadcast their gameplay.

To utilize the Xbox streaming feature, users need to link their Microsoft account to their Discord account, which can be done in the account settings. Once linked, users can activate the broadcast during a gaming session by selecting the desired server and channel in the Xbox chat menu.

Users with a paid subscription to Discord Nitro will have the option to stream their screen in 1080p with an increased frame rate. The feature is currently available for beta testers, and the rest of the users can expect access to the Xbox streaming feature in the coming weeks.

In September 2022, Xbox introduced voice chats via Discord, and in winter 2023, Discord integration became available for PlayStation 5 users.
