Remember Windows Terminal? Finally, you can download its pre-release version from Microsoft Store and give it a try.
Windows Terminal a new terminal app for command-line users that has plenty of new features including tabs, a GPU accelerated DirectWrite/DirectX-based text rendering engine, profiles, and more. Windows Terminal is fully open-sourced. Thanks to the new tabbed console, it allows organizing instances of Command Prompt, PowerShell, and Windows Subsystem for Linux together in a single app.
The app comes with an icon that reminds of new Office and OneDrive icons, reflecting Microsoft's modern design view known as 'Fluent Design'.
You can now download the preview version of the Windows Terminal from the Microsoft Store if you have Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher. Please keep in mind that this is an early preview and will be regularly updated with feature improvements and bug fixes.
The app Store page mentions its availability on HoloLens, PC, Phones, Surface Hubs. It is interesting that in the description, Xbox One is also mentioned as the supported platform.
