After weeks of speculations, leaks, and teasers, Microsoft finally unveiled Windows 11, the latest operating system to power your PC. With a special stream that Microsoft failed to deliver properly, the company revealed many interesting details about the upcoming OS.

There are lots of new design pieces, Microsoft Teams is now a part of Windows 11, and the OS itself can now run Android apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store. If you are curious to test "the next generation" of Windows before it ships to all customers somewhere this fall, expect the first official build to appear next week.

While the release date remains unknown, we already know a lot about Windows 11, for example, minimum hardware requirements. Microsoft even released a small utility to test your computer and make sure it can run Windows 11. Also, we know that Windows 11 will be a free update for all Windows 10 users. If your computer is already running Windows 10, Microsoft will not charge you to upgrade to Windows 11, just like the company did not charge Windows 7/8 users to upgrade to Windows 10 back in 2015. In fact, you can still upgrade your old and now unsupported Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free.

Microsoft plans to launch Windows 11 in the second half of the year, somewhere this fall via Windows Update.

  1. The Windows 10 Processor Requirements on the Website:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-10-21h1-supported-intel-processors

The Intel Core I5-2400 processor is not listed in the list. But my computer works for 5 years ago on Win10 / 64 Prof System. How can this be?
For this reason, WIN11 is installed in an unleavened Windows PC Health Check rejects the installation. There is no similar Win11 site there this processor.

I’m forced to write here because I do not see other error messages.
