Microsoft is adding a new card to the Home page in Settings. The new one will showcase a Copilot Pro subscription and its options. While it is a hidden addition as of now, it won't take the company long to make it available to the public.
Here's how it looks:
Besides the Home page, the similar box of info appears on the Account page. Both are intended to convince you to get a Copilot Pro subscription for unlocking extra AI features of the assistant.
In addition to the buy subscription link, you will also find a short description of what it offers, and a link for learning more details.
The change perfectly fits current Microsoft's strategy of pushing AI everywhere in the OS and its services. The Redmond firm has made it important part of its business, believing that consumers and customers will start paying for advanced options of GPT models.
By default, the new Copilot cards are hidden in the Settings app. But you can quickly make those visible by running a ViVeTool command, as discovered by @PhantomOfEarth.
Enable the Copilot Card in Settings Home page
- Download the ViVeTool from this GitHub page.
- Extract it to the c:\vivetool folder.
- Right-click the Start button in the taskbar, select Run and type cmd, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open a new command prompt as Administrator.
- In Terminal, type
c:\vivetool\vivetool /enable /id:47942561
and hit Enter. - Click the power button in the Start menu and select Restart to reboot the device.
- Finally, open the Settings. You should now have the Copilot card on the Home page.
That's it.
