Windows 11 Build 28020.1371 (Canary) comes with several fixes

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 28020.1371 (version 26H1) via KB5073097 to Insiders in the Canary channel. The changelog doesn't highlight any new feature. Instead, the release comes with several bugfixes and improvements.

Fixes

General

  • This update includes a small number of improvements and fixes designed to improve the overall operating system experience.

Start Menu

  • Fixed an issue where selecting an item inside a folder on the pinned apps screen in the Start menu could cause the entire folder to disappear from the menu.

File Explorer

  • Fixed an issue resulting in some Insiders seeing a white flash in File Explorer when navigating between pages in the previous flight.

Input

  • Fixed an issue where the keyboard character repeat delay setting in Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Keyboard was working in reverse from how it was set in the system.

Other

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the PC to freeze when attempting to launch Windows Terminal with administrator privileges from a standard user account.
  • Fixed an issue where the Share window might incorrectly display the option to send to Shell Experience Host.

  • [New] The watermark on the desktop shows an incorrect build number.
