Microsoft has released a new preview, Windows 11 build 27919, to Windows Insider program participants using the Canary channel. One of its key changes is a re-organized Search permissions page in Settings.

Windows Search
- Microsoft has redesigned the Windows Search settings, located under Settings > Privacy & Security on the Search permissions and Windows Search pages. The company has begun testing a change that will unify these settings pages so you can access all available options in one place. The page also has a modern design and the items themselves are listed in a more convenient order.

File Explorer
- Fixed an issue where File Explorer could crash when attempting to view the Digital Signatures tab in a file's properties.
Input
- Fixed an issue where the Microsoft Changjie input method was not working correctly in the previous flight.
- Fixed an issue where phonetic keyboards such as Hindi Phonetic Keyboard and Marathi Phonetic Keyboard were not working correctly in the previous build.
Known issues
General
- [Important note for Copilot+ devices] If you are upgrading to the Canary channel from the Dev, Release Preview, or Stable channels on a Copilot+ device, you will encounter an issue using your PIN or biometrics when attempting to sign in. You will see the error "Something went wrong, your PIN is not available" with the code 0xd0000225. To reset your PIN, click the "Set up PIN" button.
- When upgrading to this build, the progress indicator may appear as a rectangular symbol (glyph).
- [New] When opening the Edit Group Policy window, you may see multiple pop-up windows with error messages related to various items.
- [New] This build addresses an issue with dao360.dll that may cause some applications to crash.
Remote Desktop
- The previous build introduced an issue where Remote Desktop would only use the primary monitor, even if it was configured to use multiple monitors.
