Windows 11 Build 25336 is now available in the Canary channel. This build is also coming to Insiders running the OS on Arm64 devices. The official announcements doesn't list much.
What's new in Windows 11 Build 25336
- Improved the performance of search within Settings.
- There is a new feature that allows customers with 2 or more discrete graphics adapters (meaning they are separate from the computer's main processor) and no integrated graphics (meaning the computer does not have a graphics processor built into the main processor) to choose which of the discrete graphics adapters is considered high-performance. To access this feature, the user should go to "Settings" on their computer, then navigate to "System," "Display," "Graphics," and "Default graphics settings." From there, they can select which of the discrete graphics adapters they would like to be designated as the Default high performance GPU.
- There is now a limit for the number of most recent tabs to 20, which will be displayed under the "Multitasking" option in the Settings menu. This affects the way tabs are shown when the user presses the ALT + TAB keys, as well as when using Snap Assist. Essentially, this means that the user will only see up to the 20 most recently opened tabs when switching between applications or using Snap Assist. This feature is designed to help users manage their tabs more efficiently and reduce clutter when multitasking. This change rolled out with Build 25330 last week.
