Windows 11 Build 23620 (Dev) comes with a good pack of fixes

Microsoft updates the Dev channel with Windows 11 Build 23620. It doesn't bring a single new feature, at least nothing is officially noted. But instead you'll find a good set of fixes and improvements.

What's new in Windows 11 Build 23620 (Dev)

Fixes

Start Menu

Fixed an issue where labels such as "System" in the All Apps list would be cut off when the system text zoom was set to greater than 100%.

File Explorer

An issue affecting the stability of explorer.exe has been fixed.

Widgets

  • Fixed an issue where notifications from the Microsoft Start feed would still appear on the taskbar even if the news feed was disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where some settings pages were using incorrect spacing and fonts.

Task Manager

Fixed an issue affecting the stability of Task Manager in the last few builds.

Ease of Access

  • Microsoft has fixed an issue that caused Voice Access to crash when setting up new languages.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when trying to add natural voices for Narrator in the Settings app.

Note. Some of the fixes listed above may be included in cumulative updates for release versions of Windows 11.

Known Issues

Copilot for Windows

When you first launch or after updating Copilot, when using Voice Access, you must use the Show grid command to then move to the Ask me anything box.

Widgets

Navigation using the keyboard from widget settings pages to the main settings section does not work.
