Windows 11 Build 22635.5235 (Beta) fixes some bugs in File Explorer

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build  22635.5235 (KB5055615) to Insiders in the Beta channel. It applies to version 23H2, and comes with a number of fixes made to File Explorer and Settings.

Changes and improvements

General

    • This update includes a small number of improvements and fixes designed to improve the overall experience of the operating system.

Fixes

File Explorer

    • Made minor changes to improve the visibility of navigation elements in the Open and Save dialogs when they have keyboard focus.

Settings

    • Fixed an issue where Settings could freeze when changing the "If you're away, how long before Windows asks you to sign in again?" option under Accounts > Sign-in options.

Known issues

Start Menu:

  • These issues only apply to the new Table and Categories views:
    • When you right-click an application, the Start Menu Settings context menu appears for a moment before the application's context menu appears.
