Microsoft employee Anduin Xue posted several screenshots of Windows 11 build 22000.51 on his Twitter. The images show the updated Explorer, new context menus, the Widgets panel, the updated Settings apps, and much more.
Perhaps Windows 11 Build 22000.51 will soon become available to members of the Windows Insider program on the Dev channel.
The file explorer app lost its now-traditional Ribbon toolbar. There is a new touch-friendly toolbar.
The context menu in Explorer now allow to open the folder directly in a new window and apply a snap/split view.
As for the "Settings" application, the main categories will now be moved to the left navigation menu and will receive colorful icons. The list of pages related to the selected section will be displayed on the right side.
Apart from the bunch of visual changes demoed in these images, the CPU of the host machine is intentionally highlighted on the System > About page. It is not on the official list of supported processors, but Windows 11 is installed and working fine.
