Windows 11 23H2 is built on top of its predecessor, version 22H2. The latter has already received all its features, but they are hidden. To unlock them, it will receive a small enablement package, KB5027397. The latter will activate the full set of new features. Actually, there are only a few of them, as most of them have been enabled in the Moment 4 update for Windows 11 22H2.
So, if you want to clean-install 23H2, you can do so with the latest ISO file. Th updated image doesn't include Cortana and Mail. Cortana is now discontinued, and the Mail app is replaced by the new Outlook app.

Advertisеment
Just updated. Nothing strange yet. Much more stable than the update I did on the 22H2 and KB5031455. Had problems with File Explorer on it. Crashed all the time.
After a few days with 23H2, I can say that it is not stable. File Explorer crashes frequently. Usually when you click on Gallery. It also has a memory leak. My File Explorer used over 1GB of RAM without doing too much with it. So it feels more like a beta unfortunately.
I agree. Also, that Gallery thing is half-baked and buggy like hell.
