The development of Windows 10 Spring Creators Update, version 1803, is over. The final (RTM) build is 17133, which is already released to Fast and Slow Ring Insiders. Microsoft is actively working to push the OS to the production branch. Today, the Redmond software giant prepared Windows 10 Build 17133 to be released via the Media Creation Tool.

Media Creation Tool is a special tool which will allow you to create bootable media with Windows 10. It can download Windows 10 automatically.

The application uses file formats optimized for download speed, built-in media creation options for USB & DVDs, and allows creating an ISO file. It exists for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions. All you need is to download the appropriate version of the tool and run it.

As of this writing, the required executable file is not available for download yet.  However, interested users can try with the following file:

There, you'll find all the official links to ESD files of the upcoming feature update to the OS.

To build an ISO from the files, refer to the tool created by MDL user "Abbodi1406".

wimlib-37

  1. Extract the wimlib decrypter tool to any folder and put your ESD file in the same directory.
  2. Right-click the decrypt.cmd file and run it as administrator from the context menu.
  3. Type 1 at the command prompt to build the full ISO image:
  4. Wait for a few minutes and you are done.

Windows 10 Spring Creators Update, codenamed "Redstone 4", will bring a number of interesting features. These include Timeline, Cortana improvements, plenty of Fluent Design-powered apps and Settings pages, new security options, and more.

  1. It’s not final, I did clean install and in diagnostics settings it says windows insider program manages that settings…

  2. Too hard, just edit that XML (Products_RS4_03_30_2018.xml) prepending MCT, Catalogs, and Catalog version=”1.1″ tags in between “xml version” and “PublishedMedia” tags, as well closing that tag at the end of that file.
Notice that tags are xml tags, the ones using minor and major enclosing symbols. ()
Save it and rename to products.xml and packit to cabinet format: command line makecab products.xml products.cab
Finally launch Media Creation Tool with parameters like this: MediaCreationTool.exe /Selfhost
Obviously there must best those two files together in a folder. MediaCreationTool from Redstone3 will be using this new XML, voìla

No need to decrypt ESD files.

  3. Thanks Victor for the guide. I was able to use Media Creation Tool to create a 1803 ISO.

In case anyone is unclear about the XML edits here is the structure of my XML file after making the changes.

    […redacted…]

  4. Net firmware 3.5 is not downloading after doing clean installation , i did 2 times clean Install, sam problem .

  5. Malware bytes is blocking the winlib-37 ‘s domain and explains it’s causing an outbound action under Port 50237 or some such, running a script that MB interprets as malicious.

Are you knowledgeable about the principals or had good track record from that site in Czech. in the past?

    Thanks,
I’ll just hold off a bit in case they were unitentionally affected or you know it’s a false positive.
