Images of private Windows 10 builds continue to leak to the Internet. The latest leaks indicate a darker appearance of Metro UI along with an updated Settings app.
The appearance of the OS is slightly more cohesive. The Notification Center now uses the same color as the Taskbar. When you set a darker color for the taskbar and for windows, the Notification Center looks the same.
There are new options in Appearance settings. Window borders have finally started using the same color as the taskbar.
The updated Settings app includes three new options:
- Automatically pick a color from my background does the same as "Automatic" color from the classic Personalization Control Panel.
- Show color on the taskbar and Start menu allows you to disable the colorization of the taskbar and the Start menu.
- The ability to disable the Start menu transparency.
These features will apparently come in future Windows 10 builds and should be valuable for most users. The build number containing these changes is not disclosed. (Credits: ITHome via).
