Microsoft has done a useful change to Device Manager tool which make it easier to see what hardware is using which drivers. A new option in the View menu allows you to arrange devices by the drivers they use.
Device Manager is a special tool in Windows that allows managing drivers and parameters for the installed hardware. It shows detailed information about each installed device. Device Manager provides detailed information in the Properties dialog for each device. Right-click the name of the device, and then click Properties. The General, Driver, Details, and Events tabs contain information that can be useful when you debug errors or installing a new device.
A new option in Windows 10 Device Manager can be found under the View menu. The app now provides the user with the following views to arrange devices by their drivers.
- Devices by driver
- Drivers by type
- Drivers by device.
When you select Devices by driver, Device Manager lists *.INF files as root nodes of the device tree. Expanding the nodes shows which devices are belong the inf file. By removing the driver you will also uninstall and reset the related devices.
The change is expected hit the stable Windows 10 version with the Windows 10 Sun Valley update, in the second half of the year. It is currently available in the preview builds of the operating system.
This new addition will be really useful for advanced users and system administrators. It clearly shows which drivers need to be removed to uninstall a device.

This is a good improvement IMHO. Although while uninstalling any device by category, it already let you uninstall the driver package/software from the DriverStore.
What build you are talking about? Can not find such item in a “View” menu.

I have Windows 10 Home 64 bit (version 22H2 OS build 19045.2486) installed 5/7/2021, but I don’t have Devices by Driver category in device manager. Any idea how to get it?
Perhaps they postponed this feature to Windows 11.
