Starting today, every user can download the latest and the last version of Windows 10 via Windows Update. Microsoft finds Windows 10 21H2 ready for broad deployment.
This means that everyone with Windows 10 installed will be offered to upgrade their device to the most recent release. Actually, version 21H2 shares its core with 2004 and 20H2 releases, and doesn't offer much. But it will eventually remain the only supported version of Windows 10. Its predecessor, version 20H2, will run out of support on May 10, 2022.
So, the upgrade package for Windows 10, version 21H2 is now appears automatically on the Windows Update in Settings. You no longer need to use the "seeker" experience to make the build to appear.
For existing 2004 and 20H2 users the update process will be quick and painless. What they receive is just an enablement package that simply unlocks hidden features previously delivered to your device with cumulative updates. It won't download a lot of data or modify a ton of files.
If you are coming from an older release, like 1909, Windows 10 will perform a full build upgrade in order to install 21H2.
According to the official information, Windows 10 21H2 will receive updates until October 2025, unless Microsoft change its plans. The Health Dashboard page doesn't include any unresolved known issue for several weeks, so it is a reasonable move for Microsoft to start its broad deployment.
To get it right now, head over Settings (Win+I) > Windows Update and check for the update if you don't see the build upgrade offer right now. Alternatively, you can just wait a while and get an update notification without any activity on your part.
