After a series of stable releases, the Vivaldi team has released a new weekly build, version 1.2.490.3 which comes with a number of bugfixes and new features. One of most interesting features in this build is the refined download indicator. Let's see changes in detail.
If you are not familiar with Vivaldi, it was started with the promise of giving you a highly customizable, full-featured, innovative browser. It looks like its developers kept their promise - there is no other browser on the market which offers the same amount of options and features. While Vivaldi is built on Chrome's engine, power users are the target user base, like the classic Opera 12 browser. Vivaldi was created by former Opera co-founder and developed keeping in mind Opera's usability and power.
In this weekly release, developers have refined the Downloads panel. Now you can get a clearer estimation of how quickly things are progressing:
Unfortunately, Vivaldi 1.2.490.3 comes with the following issues:
- Up and Down arrow keys can also move panel item selection
- Tabs resize too soon on closing
You can download the browser here:
