Microsoft recently launched a paid version of Copilot Pro, offering enhanced features and improved performance. Subscribing to this version costs $20 per month. However, early adopters have noticed that Copilot Pro operates at a slower pace compared to its ChatGPT counterpart.
During the release of Copilot Pro, Microsoft assured users that they would have priority access to GPT-4 Turbo, even during peak hours. However, it seems that the company has been unable to fulfill this promise.
Mikhail Parakhin, the head of advertising and web services at Microsoft, responded to user complaints by stating that there were no issues or delays on the server side. He suggested that users disable the efficiency mode in their web browsers to conserve battery power, as it may impact the performance of Copilot Pro. Additionally, Parakhin mentioned that Copilot Pro is currently unavailable on Android or iOS platforms, as Microsoft continues to update the apps and awaits approval from app stores for listing.
Subscribing to Copilot Pro provides access to AI features in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to create your own Copilot GPT.
It has been reported that using Copilot Pro can save users $20 per month on a GPT-4 Turbo subscription.
