Turns out Windows 11 Build 25300 is full of hidden features. The previously reviewed ability to kill apps from the taskbar (WIP) and the new Snap layouts are just the tip of the iceberg. The Settings app in this build also reveals tons of forthcoming updates.
New features in Windows 11 Settings app
Note: All of them are currently hidden. They all are a work-in-progress, so even Components Store identifiers that you could use in the ViVeTool app are not available as of now.
New Home page
First of all, the Settings app is getting a new Home section that will open by default then you launch it. Currently, it doesn't contain anything useful besides the computer name and activation hint.
Create VHD/VHDX in System > Storage > Disk & Volumes
You no longer need to use the Disk Management snap-in to create a new VHD new file. A new addition to the Settings app allows you to create VHD and VHDX disks up to 2040 GB and 64 TB, respectively. It supports both fixed and dynamic disk types. After creation, you can select the type of partition table (GPT or MBR) and format the disk.
Presence sensing
One more option will allow the user to control when the OS and apps have access to presence sensing. The Settings app has a new option for that in the Privacy and Security section.
