Today, the Surface Laptop Go 2 device was spotted in the catalog of a Korean online store. So we are just days away from its official announcement. Microsoft will probably present the new generation of affordable laptop in the Surface family on June 2, 2022.
According to the leak, the top-end Surface Laptop Go 2 will come with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The specs also include an improved HD camera, but there are no details about this change.
The rest of the specifications are likely to remain unchanged. If so, then the Surface Laptop Go 2 will have a 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 1536x1024 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The device will feature USB-A, USB-C, Surface Connect, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Like its predecessor, it won't have a fingerprint scanner in the cheapest variant.
Microsoft should also introduce a new colorway for the Surface Laptop Go 2 called Sage, which will join the existing Platinum, Ice Blue, and Sandstone color options.
Finally, here are the expected pricing for the new device.
