Windows Insider program members haven't seen new Windows 10 Mobile builds for quite some time. Despite desktop builds for the Fast ring being released every week, Microsoft has some issues with getting newer Mobile builds to run good enough on Insider devices. Earlier this week, Windows Insider Program lead Dona Sarkar announced on her Twitter that Mobile builds are being delayed due to a blocking bug the team has hit during development.
Dona Sarkar isn't saying when Windows Insiders should expect the next Windows 10 Mobile build to be rolled out. She asks for some patience as the team is working hard on fixing it. Details of the issue are still unclear, but apparently it has something to do with the updates being stuck on the first installation stage. There are also reports of the new builds only working properly on the latest Lumia models, while older ones are failing to boot after the update.
Nonetheless, don't hold your breath for new Mobile builds in the near future as the bug has already prevented Microsoft from shipping more than two builds to Insiders.
