It is known that Microsoft is going to improve the Start menu available in Windows 10. Today, an animation/video of the new Start menu appeared, so we can get a better idea of how it will be in Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Let's discuss it.
Recently, Microsoft announced that the Start menu in Windows 10 Anniversary Update will include a new view - the "All apps" list will take the entire left side of the menu area, and the Settings and Account details will be hidden inside the hamburger button. Jen Gentleman, a Microsoft employee created a GIF animation which demonstrate these changes in action:
By popular request, to ease some concerns, and because @ZacB_ asked nicely, here's the new start menu in action! 😃 pic.twitter.com/MiIPO8Epuf

This change will reach Windows 10 with the Anniversary Update, which is expected to be released in July 2016. Those who are participating in the Windows Insider program and using Fast Ring builds will get their hands on the Start menu a bit earlier.

So basically animations and stupid hamburger menu. Truly mind-blowing :/
MS should just mimic Classic Shell, for crying out loud.
Yes get rid of the Tiles
Do we know yet if you can change those shortcuts on the left? I have drop-down folders for my most used folders pinned onto my start menu. It’d be a pretty sharp drop in productivity to give that up.
How do I remove the “All Apps” part of the start menu?
