Microsoft will officially announce new Surface devices and new AI features in Windows 11 on March 21

Microsoft has announced an event called "New Era of Work" that will focus on the new Surface devices, the upcoming feature update for Windows 11, and the capabilities of Microsoft's AI assistant Copilot. It will happen on March 21, 2024 at 9:00am PDT (19:00 UTC+3).

As earlier reported, the event will feature Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors. Device will include a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to accelerate AI tasks. These will be among the first devices on the market to fully support all AI-powered features in the Windows 11 Fall Feature Update.

The event will also reveal more about new features of Windows 11 and Copilot, which require a special neural unit (NPU) to operate. We also expect Microsoft to announce a new feature called “AI Explorer”. It will be an advanced version of Copilot that allows users to track and remember everything they do on their computer. AI Explorer will be compatible with any application and will make it easy to search for past conversations, documents, web pages, and images.

The landing page for the event is here.
