Microsoft Tests Cross-Game History Feature Across Xbox Consoles and PC

Microsoft makes Cloud Gaming easier to access via Xbox PC App. Games available to play through Xbox Cloud Gaming will now appear in the library and recent games list in the Xbox app for PC. This includes both original Xbox games and console exclusives for Xbox Series X|S.

Games will appear in the sections regardless of whether they are purchased or available through an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Only Xbox Insiders can evaluate this change at this time.

Subscribers can now navigate to the Library section of the app and select the newly added "Cloud-Playable" option located beneath the sorting controls. This view aggregates all eligible games, including those originally released for Xbox, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles that are not natively available on PC.

The functionality applies to both personally owned titles and games included in an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, offering a unified view of accessible content via the cloud.

Additionally, the list of recently launched games will now be synced across all devices. Regardless of whether you are playing on a console, PC or Windows portable device, the new history section will allow you to instantly return to the last launched game and continue playing from the same place where you left off.

Earlier in the month, Xbox Insiders on PC received another significant addition: the ability to stream their own locally installed games from one device to another.
