Microsoft Store has got a new Arcade tab with games you can play instantly

In Windows 11 preview builds, Microsoft has recently rolled out an update to the Store app. This update introduces a new feature called "Arcade", which allows users to access instant games without the need for downloading them. The "Arcade" tab can be found directly below the "Games" tab in the Microsoft Store app.

The Instant Games feature for Windows 11 was announced by Microsoft in September 2023 alongside the release of the Moment 4 update. The company also allows game developers to submit their games to the library on the Store. Here's how it works.

First of all, you need to have Microsoft Store app version 22311.1401.0.0 or later installed. Once in the "Arcade" section, users can simply select a game and click "Play".

This action will open a new window in the Microsoft Store app and launch the game.

It is worth noting that Microsoft is rolling out the Acrade game feature gradually. So there is a chance that it will not be available to you right away.

Additionally, in November, Microsoft released a new version of the Store app to participants of the Windows Insider Program. This updated version allows users to choose the drive and folder where they want to install games, providing greater flexibility in managing their game installations.
