Microsoft puts on hold the rollout of new features to the Dev channel

The Windows Insider team has paused the release of new features in Windows 11 Insider Build 26120.961 on the Dev channel. The reason behind this move is not disclosed. Insiders will start receiving updates when the rollout resumes.

The official blog post now says:

UPDATE 6/30: We have temporarily paused the enablement of these features to investigate a few issues reported by Windows Insiders. We plan to begin the enablement again shortly.

💡 You will find the full list of changes planned for the rollout to the Dev channel in this post.

It is important to note that Microsoft implemented various changes and enhancements in this build on June 28 for select Insiders who opted to receive updates right away.

Some users could not see all the changes listed, while others may only receive a portion of them.

There is no official information when the rollout resumes.

In other news, Microsoft has resumed the KB5039302 release to Insiders, despite it being known for causing a reboot loop for virtual machine users. The issue remain unresolved as of this writing.
