Math Solver is now generally available in Preview to Insiders in all pre-release channels of Microsoft Edge. It no longer required to enable a flag to access it in the browser settings. It is available out of the box in Edge Beta, Canary, and Dev.
Math Solver is intended to allow students to quickly solve a math problem by analyzing the page content or the user input. Math Solver in Edge utilizes Microsoft's very own online service that allows doing the same within the browser. It can be useful when solving trigonometry, arithmetic, algebra, calculus, statistics, and other calculations.
The impact of Covid-19 has forced students to use more digital learning tools and incorporate their web browser into everyday learning. Students rely on the browser to help them find solutions to their studies, including math. To help these students on their learning journey, we are excited to announce that Microsoft Math Solver will be available as a preview feature starting with Microsoft Edge 91 stable
By releasing Math Solver to Insiders in Microsoft Edge 91+, Microsoft is collecting feedback for this Preview feature in order to include it permanently in an upcoming stable release.
