Microsoft may soon integrate of ChatGPT in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Last week, Microsoft revealed an updated Bing that includes ChatGPT, an AI powered chatbot. Microsoft makes high stakes on artificial intelligence, so you could expect it to appear in more its products. The next software and services to receive ChatGPT may be Office apps.

As reported by The Verge, this Spring the company may demonstrate the integration of OpenAI technologies and the Prometheus model into Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Prometheus already allows Bing to show more relevant and targeted search results.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft initially wanted to announce the new Bing somewhere in the end of February. But they postponed the announcement in order to impose competition on Google and its artificial intelligence solution "Bard".

It turned out to be the right decision. According to Microsoft's Ysuf Mehdi, Within 48 hours, over a million people applied for access to Bing preview powered by ChatGPT. After brieft testing, the Redmond firm is going to make the new Bing available to more users.
