Microsoft has released a small cumulative update for the recently released Windows 10 Build 20241. The patch KB4589464 is available to Insiders in the Dev channel, and raises the OS version to 20241.1005. There are no new features in this release.
As you may have noticed, Microsoft is often releases such servicing pipeline testing packages when a feature update is rolling out to the stable branch. The company just wants to ensure that its update deliver mechanisms are functioning properly. Currently, the Windows 10 October 2020 Update is rolling out gradually to consumers and customers, so we may see more such updates.
Happy Friday #WindowsInsiders! We are starting to roll out Cumulative Update Build 20241.1005 (KB4589464) to the Dev Channel. This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline.https://t.co/KeYCFXxiIV
