Microsoft has introduced a new feature called School Connection to the Microsoft Teams For Education app on mobile devices. This feature allows parents and guardians to track their children's progress in school.
According to Microsoft, School Connection is specifically designed for children from kindergarten to 12th grade and can be accessed on smartphones. With this option, parents can easily see which homework assignments their child has completed or not.
Additionally, School Connection allows parents to monitor the overall educational activities and progress of multiple children who may attend different schools or classes.
Using Teams, parents can also view monthly trends in their child's digital activity, as well as their progress in completing and submitting assignments. By understanding their child's strengths and areas that need improvement, parents can provide targeted support.
To get started with School Connection, interested parents can send a link from Microsoft to school officials. However, it's important to note that School Connection is currently not available in all Microsoft Teams for Education markets, including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Schools can apply to participate in the program by filling out a form on Microsoft's website. Besides, the latest Teams version includes the ability to give teachers feedback on assignments.
