Microsoft shared that the Build 2025 developer conference will take place from May 19 to 22 this year. The conference will likely once again focus on artificial intelligence, the future of Copilot, new features for devices with an NPU, and new AI-powered Windows 11 capabilities. As usual, the company continues its tradition of hosting Build in May annually.
Build serves as Microsoft's main event for developers, offering opportunities to learn about new tools, connect with others, and sharpen their skills. The event typically happens in Seattle, where Microsoft's headquarters is located.
Last year, the developer conference ran from May 21 to 23. During Build 2024, the focus was on artificial intelligence technologies and the development and integration of the Copilot AI assistant.
For Build 2025, Microsoft chose the tagline: “We’re building a new path forward.” Details about the event remain limited so far. However, it’s likely that Microsoft will highlight Copilot and other AI-driven solutions at the next conference. The official Build website currently only shows the dates and a “Get Notified” button, without providing a schedule or additional information.
