Edge is getting more popular among Desktop users
Meanwhile, StatCounter has issued its updated report. According to their data collected in May 2022, Edge remains world's second popular web browser on Desktop. Its market share continues to grow, thought it increased slightly.
The values are as follows.
Desktop Browsers | Percentage Market Share |
---|---|
Chrome | 66.1% |
Edge | 10.11% |
Safari | 9.16% |
Firefox | 7.66% |
Opera | 2.81% |
IE | 1.68% |
So in May, Edge only received +0.04 points on the Desktop. On mobile, it still doesn't have a significant number of users, being far behind Chrome, Safary, UC Browser, Samsung Internet, and others.
