Microsoft Build 2023 developer event may be held from May 23 to 25

Microsoft has yet to announce a date for its annual Build 2023 developer conference, although it has confirmed that the event will take place this year. The event home page is greeting visitors for their interest in Microsoft Build and notes that the company is getting ready to start registration. Simply put, Microsoft is almost ready for the official announcement of the event.

At the same time, the source code of the main page of the https://register.build.microsoft.com website contains the estimated dates for Build 2023. If these are not placeholders, it will take place from May 23 to May 25. Of course,  it's worth waiting for official confirmation from Microsoft. But the dates look very plausible, as last year the event took place from May 24 to 26.

Last year's Build 2022 was a hybrid event, meaning some developers were still able to attend the event in person, but most followed the event through live streams. It is not known whether if Microsoft will use the same event format this year. The company may go with completely virtual events only.
