Microsoft accidentally showed a mockup of the Xbox app with Steam integration

In its blog, Microsoft demonstrated the updated interface of the Xbox application, which will adapt to various devices, be it TVs, tablets or portable devices. In general, in this version, the application is more reminiscent of the interface of Xbox gaming consoles.

It is noteworthy that the interface mockup has a Steam label. It is possible that in the future, the Xbox app will be able to display installed games from Steam and other gaming platforms. At least this is confirmed by The Verge's sources familiar with Microsoft's plans. The development of the new version of the app is in the early stages.

Microsoft quickly removed the image from its blog and has yet to respond to journalists' questions about the new Xbox app user interface.
