Earlier this week, Microsoft rolled out a new feature update for Windows 11 named the 2023 Update (23H2). Users can already install this update via Windows Update or the Update Assistant tool. Additionally, official ISO images have been made available for a fresh, clean installation of the operating system.
However, it's important to note that the Media Creation Tool utility currently does not support the creation of installation media with Windows 11 2023 Update. Despite the official website stating support for version 23H2, the Media Creation Tool actually downloads the image of Windows 11 version 22H2.
Gabe Frost, a Microsoft employee, confirmed via their Twitter (@GabeAul) that the latest version of Windows 11 is not yet available in the Media Creation Tool. The engineers are currently working on optimizing the size of the Windows 11 23H2 image. They expect to finish their work in mid-November.
There’s a package size optimization underway for 23H2 with MCT. Rough ETA is a couple weeks ~11/15

Once you successfully install Windows 23H2, you'll notice several changes and improvements. The Start Menu has been redesigned, now featuring enhanced tooltips. The Taskbar has also been improved, with button labels and the ability to ungroup windows. Virtual desktops have been made more convenient, and Snap Layouts have seen enhancements as well. The Microsoft Store has been updated, and File Explorer now supports various archive formats while featuring a fresh layout. Additionally, gaming has been enhanced, accessibility has been improved, and overall performance and security have been enhanced. You can explore all these features by visiting the following post:

Thank you for clearing this up. After not receiving the update I decided to do a clean install with the Media Creation Tool. Not only was it 2H22, it seemed far buggier than before.
