The company is going to update it frequently, and include more details to share the Edge upcoming features. The company already maintains such a list for enterprise releases, but now the Microsoft is about to focus on consumer features.
This consumer roadmap on the "What's new" page will be updated with every Beta release, so it will be changed every six weeks.
The new roadmap page features filters by status, tags, last updated and date added. It makes it easier to find which features are in development, which are rolling out, and what is already available in the browser.
It is worth mentioning that the new "Extension Hub" menu is set to be added to Edge 89, which is the current beta version of the browser (Edge 88 was released a few days ago).
It is described as
The all-new extensions menu on the address bar will allow you to hide/pin extensions easily. The quick links to manage extensions and find new extensions will make it easy for you to find new extensions and manage your existing ones.
It is not available to everyone, but you can enable it by following this tutorial:
The roadmap currently lists new features up to Edge version 91, and gives the idea what Edge will get and when.
