KB4532695 Causes BSODs, Audio, and Network Issues in Windows 10

Last week Microsoft released the KB4532695 patch to address a number of issues in Windows 10 version 1909, also known as 'November 2019 Udate'. While the update fixes a number of long-standing bugs, it adds more issues to the OS.

The KB4532695 patch addresses a number of File Explorer bugs, including the bugs that make the search box in Explorer's toolbar unusable. Unfortunately, the search behavior remains different from how it had been implemented in previous Windows 10 versions. For instance, it lacks syntax highlighting for advanced search query operators, and still has usability issues. Interested users can revert it to the previous behavior and get the full-featured search box by following the instructions here:

However, the altered search box is not the only issue with KB4532695. Users report that after installing the update, they run into BSODs, have broken audio, and Bluetooth connection.

There are a few reports that mention issues with BitLocker, and network connection. The last issue isn't tied to a specific driver, network adapter vendor, and affects both wireless and wired connections. After installing the patch, the connection bandwidth is shrunk to 1Mb/s for a number of users, and none of the built-in troubleshooting tools can resolve the situation.

Uninstalling the update will help you to get the things back to normal.

That's a pity that recent updates remain problematic, giving extra issues along with fixes they supposed to deliver to the user.

  1. New install works great until I install KB4532695 then BSOD.
Tried two new motherboards and got the same issue
    1: MSI H370Gaming Plus
    2: MSI B365M Pro-VH
Just a fresh install plus windows updates but no KB4532695 install all works great
Install KB4532695 and after reboots just Black Screen
Computer never recovers no matter how long it runs.
Reboot and BSOD causes endless loop until you un-stall KB4532695 or load clean again.
