Microsoft has confirmed a leadership change for its Ignite 2025 conference. CEO Satya Nadella will not deliver the keynote address at the upcoming Ignite 2025 conference. Instead, Judson Althoff, recently appointed head of Microsoft's commercial business, will open the event.

Althoff will deliver the keynote address at the Chase Arena in San Francisco. He will share the stage with senior Microsoft executives, including Scott Guthrie, Ryan Roslansky, Asha Sharma, Charles LaManna, Arun Ulaga, and other company leaders.
This leadership change is the result of a recent internal reorganization. Nadella has delegated a significant portion of day-to-day commercial operations to Althoff to focus on what Microsoft calls "our most ambitious engineering work yet."
Microsoft Ignite 2025 is aimed at IT professionals and enterprise customers. The program will focus on artificial intelligence and its transformative role in business processes.
The conference will take place from November 18 to 21, 2025, in San Francisco. Microsoft will broadcast the keynotes live and make recordings of numerous presentations available on-demand after the event.
