In Windows 10, there is a Share pane when you press Win + H keys together in a Universal Windows Platform app or use the Share button on the ribbon UI in File Explorer. By default, it shows all apps there which support sharing of the selected file type or data content. But you might never be using some of those apps for sharing so you might want to clean up that list. Here is how you can customize the list.
In our recent article, we covered in detail how to enable the Share options page. Follow the instructions below.
- Enable the Share page in Settings.
- Open Settings.
- Go to System - Share.
- There, you will find the list of apps which support the Share contract that you can open with the Win + H hotkey.
Turn off those apps that you do not want to see in the Share app list.
This is quite simple. Unfortunately, the Share page is not available in Windows 10 by default, so it involves Registry editing before you can customize the the Share list.
