From November 12th onwards, Microsoft will enforce a ban on gamers using unofficial gamepads on Xbox. Users have already started receiving warnings about this.
Xbox users who currently use controllers not certified by Microsoft will no longer be able to connect them to their consoles. When attempting to connect a gamepad, a warning message appears, alerting users that support for these devices will cease on November 12th.
Windows Central's sources indicate that this action is part of Microsoft's effort to expand their approved third-party Xbox wireless controller program.
The notice from Xbox directs users to return any uncertified controllers to the store of purchase. Additionally, users are advised to exclusively purchase accessories from official Microsoft partners, with a list of these partners available on the company's website.
