Few days ago I discovered some really awesome Christmas widgets for your desktop. They include a Christmas tree collection, a fireplace and a huge assortment of cute glass snowballs.
In the screenshot above you can see some examples of Christmas trees. All these X-mas goodies are available for free and are clean, malware-free.
All widget apps are native and portable, which means that they do not require additional software like .NET framework. As these are portable, no installation is required, just unzip the files and run.

For every running widget you can adjust the transparency level, enable the "Run with Windows" option and change some other options. When you hover over them, you can see how many days are left for Christmas. The options are available from the context menu of the widget.
