Fix Windows 10 build 10061 activation issues

After Microsoft released a newer build of Windows 10, some users faced a strange issue - Windows 10 remains not activated after the install. This did not happen with previous builds. Thankfully, it is very easy to fix.

Windows 10 build 10061 Settings app
Regardless of the way you installed Windows 10, using Windows Update, this build of Windows 10 can need activating. To fix it, you need to do the following:

  1. Open an elevated command prompt.
  2. Type the following command:
    for Pro edition:
    slmgr.vbs -ipk NKJFK-GPHP7-G8C3J-P6JXR-HQRJR

    for Enterprise edition:

    slmgr.vbs -ipk PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK

    Press Enter.

  3. You might need to restart your PC, but in my case it worked instantly.

That's it. Now you have Windows 10 build 10061 activated.

  1. This fix did not work for me i, i keep getting the following error:

Error: 0xC004F068 On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run ‘slui.exe 0x2a 0xC004F069’ to display the error text.

    :-(

    1. @Carlos: Did you upgrade from the leaked build? I remember that Windows 10 became deactivated when I upgraded from the leaked 9909 to 9926. I was forced to do a clean install so I could get back my activation.

Tried the phone activation, but it seems that on that build it wasn’t ready.

    2. Sigh* I also have this problem. Again, Windows became unlicensed and unactivated. Can’t activate using the slmgr -ipk and slmgr -ato commands.
